ABOUT MARGARET

A Meteorologist by trade, Margaret holds a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from Oregon State University, and worked with the National Weather Service for 13 years. After which, she moved on to a higher calling, homeschooling her two sons K-12.
Margaret enjoys swimming, gardening, and reading. She is very involved in her church, and loves spending time with her granddaughters. She has classroom experience teaching Middle and High School Math, Physical Science, and Weather. She has privately tutored math for the past eighteen years. As a math tutor, Margaret works with public, private and homeschool students. Concentrating on Middle School through High School and on into College Algebra and Trigonometry, she also works with some late elementary school students. A teacher at heart, Margaret loves math and cares deeply about her students. She believes in one-on-one education, and takes pride not only in increasing her students' test scores, but in sharing her love of learning with them, too. |
