Margaret is the best! She is so efficient and my boys both like her (which is not always easy to find). I’m sure we will use her until they are in college.

Mrs Nordberg has been such a help to me with algebra 2, college algebra, trigonometry, statistics, and test prep (ACT/SAT). She's incredibly patient and would explain concepts to me as many times as I needed to understand them. She would walk me through how to solve a problem step-by step, and if the first method she taught didn't make sense for me, I've found that she always has at least one other way of teaching it. She has a strong background with science as well, so she's really good at explaining how math concepts are integrated and used in practical real-world situations. She's also a lot of fun to work with, we get to laughing over some of the problems we come across. Definitely recommend for help with basic math concepts as well as college-level work!

Margaret has tutored all five of my kids. Before, I could get them through the math problems, but, as my son remarked --"Mrs. Nordberg just knows how to explain where the numbers come from." My kids gained confidence in their skills and no longer dreaded doing math when Margaret became their tutor. She has been essential to their math successes. We highly recommend her.

Margaret has tutored both of our sons in math for the past three years and she has been a true blessing. We homeschool, and she has been very flexible and accommodating with our schedule and has helped both of the boys truly grasp the key, necessary mathematical principles they need to succeed. With just one session a week she is able to provide both the weekly lesson/instruction as well as lay out the plan & path for the coming week (allowing them to be independent at home). Not only is she an excellent tutor, but she is also very personable and we are all very fond of her.

My son has always struggled in school. Not enough for special services, but enough to crush is confidence. That was until our incredibly gifted and kind neighbor Margaret Nordberg agreed to take him on as a math student. At 14 his confidence has soared and for the first time he has all A's and a B. (He actually saves work he doesn't understand from all of his subjects for a quick pass by Mrs. Nordberg). He reminds ME - "Mom can you give me Mrs. Nordberg's payment?" before we even walk out the door on Mondays! He wouldn't miss his time with her for anything! We are SO grateful for her work, it has made all the difference for our family!

We have known Mrs. N for 6 years when she first started teaching my boys HS Algebra/Geometry. She is a warm, friendly, kind person who cares about my children as much as I do. When we needed math help I sought her out. No teacher we knew could help my kids understand math the way she can. She is AMAZING (and not expensive).
When my first son needed help with college math, she was right there willing to help. She even helped him understand the math with some of his physics problems. Her math fluency tactic has helped him with the math needed to gain his Mechanical Engineering degree. She was instrumental in his success and confidence.
My second son (who has learning disabilities) came to her in despair after having to drop his math class. She was gentile, patient and really worked with him and myself to make sure that confidence and mastering math concepts were key without stressing him out. She used a different learning technique and focused on what worked. He just passed the CLEP test in College Algebra and is working with on his Pre-Calc CLEP test. My son LOVES her. He does not love math, but he no longer hates it. There is never a fight to get him to go to Mrs. N.
I have two more children that I will not hesitate to take to her. Along the way, she has guided me with curriculum teach them with a good foundation in math. She is always about helping the student and the family be successful. She is not just a math teacher but a friend and ally.
